What is Yonder?
Yonder is our university’s very own online marketplace, kind of like our own campus version of an e-commerce site. Here, you can safely buy, sell, or trade items with other students, faculty, and staff. Whether you’re looking for affordable textbooks, pre-loved gadgets, or dorm essentials, Yonder connects you directly with people you can actually bump into on campus.
Who can use Yonder?
Only verified members of the university community — students, faculty, and PBEN staff — can register and access Yonder. Registration requires a valid university email.
How do I create an account?
You do not need to create an account manually. Student accounts are provisioned automatically using the university’s records tied to official university email addresses. To access the platform, sign in with your university email; the system will recognize your account and issue a temporary password based on your registered birthdate.
Is Yonder available as a mobile app?
Currently, Yonder is accessible through web browsers on both desktop and mobile devices. A mobile app version may be developed in the future.
How do I reset my password?
On first login you will be prompted to change your temporary password—choose a strong, unique password and keep it confidential. If you are unable to sign in or your temporary password does not work, contact PBEN or the system administrator for assistance.

Buying and Redeeming
How do I buy something?
Find the product you like, click “Buy” or “Add to Cart,” select your payment method (Cash or GCash), and confirm your purchase.
What payment methods are accepted?
Yonder currently supports two payment methods: cash and GCash. For cash transactions, payment is made directly to PBEN or the seller upon item pickup. For GCash payments, users may scan the official GCash QR code provided during checkout and upload the proof of payment
How do I redeem a voucher?
Go to the “Voucher” section under your account, select the voucher you want to redeem, and apply it during checkout to get discounts or special perks.
How can I earn vouchers or credits?
Every time you purchase PBEN products through Yonder, you earn reward credits that accumulate in your account. Once you reach the required amount, you can convert these credits into discount vouchers, which can then be redeemed during checkout for future purchases.
How will I know if my order was successful?
You’ll receive an in-app and SMS notification once your order is confirmed, and you can track the status under “My Orders" section under your profile.
Can I cancel an order after confirming it?
You may cancel your order before the seller marks it as “Processed.” Once processing has begun, cancellation is no longer available through the system. For PBEN products, you must personally visit the PBEN office to request cancellation after your order has been processed.
Selling on Yonder
What can I sell?
You may sell items that are legal, safe, and appropriate for campus use, such as books, uniforms, electronics, and organization merchandise. However, prohibited items include weapons, controlled substances, counterfeit goods, and other materials deemed inappropriate by the university. Before posting, sellers can review and comply with the Posting Policies displayed in the product listing section to ensure all items meet Yonder’s content and safety guidelines.
Can I edit or delete my listing after posting?
Yes. You can edit product details or remove the listing anytime under “My Listings" section under your profile.
How do I get notified when someone buys or messages me?
You’ll receive instant notifications via SMS and in-app alerts whenever someone interacts with your product or sends a message.
Can I offer barter or trade deals?
Absolutely! When posting your item, choose “Barter” as the transaction type and specify what you’re willing to trade for.
Bartering and Trading
What is the barter feature?
The barter feature enables users to exchange items with or without monetary involvement, depending on the agreement between the parties. Both users may negotiate the terms of exchange through the in-app messaging system before finalizing the transaction.
Is bartering safe?
Yes, since Yonder only allows verified university members, all exchanges happen within a trusted community. Always meet in safe, public campus areas.
Messaging and Communication
How do I contact a seller or buyer?
Users can communicate through the in-app messaging feature by clicking the message icon located at the bottom-right corner of the interface and searching for the person’s name. Alternatively, users may access the seller’s profile by clicking the profile link under the “Seller Information” section on the product page and then selecting the “Message” option to initiate a conversation.
Can I send images or proof of payment in chat?
Yes, the chat supports image uploads for proof of payment or product discussions.
Orders, Billing, and Reports
How can I view my orders?
Go to your “Profile” and select “My Purchases.” You can view all pending, to receive, completed, and canceled transactions.
Reviews and Ratings
How can I leave a review?
After completing a purchase, go to your order history and click “Review.” You can rate the product and share your experience.
Can I edit my review later?
Currently, reviews can’t be edited once submitted, but future updates may include an edit option.
Are reviews visible to everyone?
Yes. All product and seller reviews are publicly displayed to help other buyers make informed decisions.
Notifications and Updates
How do I receive updates?
You’ll receive notifications through both SMS and in-app alerts for messages, orders, and voucher updates.
Account and Settings
How do I update my profile information?
Navigate to the “Profile” section and update your editable information as needed. Please note that your name, university email, and gender are non-editable fields to maintain account authenticity and data security.
Technical Issues and Support
The website isn’t loading properly. What should I do?
Try refreshing the page, clearing your cache, or using a different browser. If the problem persists, contact Yonder Support.
I encountered a bug or error. How can I report it?
Go to the “Help” section and click “Report a Problem.” Provide a short description and screenshot if possible.
